Long Beach and THE WEATHER!!

The weather was really severe on our last clamming trip over the Thanksgiving weekend. Wind was the bigggest problem (staying vertical), but the rain was a close second. We braved the elements for the tasty clams.






Leanne was an especially great sport about the wind and rain. She dug a limit one evening in those tough conditions.

The highlight of the trip was going crabbing with Jay and Kelly out near Hammond, OR. It was great! We ended up with 12 crabs each. What a feast! Sammo even got in on it too. We did cracked crab, crab louie, and crab omelettes-all fresh. Wow, it was all so tasty!
